About Me
Hi! My name is Aaron Fishkind and I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.
From my freshman year in high school, I was always the student who pored over the latest admission rates and waited for decision numbers to be released. When essay prompts for different universities were revealed, I brainstormed how I would respond. For me, essays provided an opportunity to express my unique voice through personal stories and perspectives, something that standardized test scores and high school grades could never reflect.
That passion for the college admissions process did not wear off once I left high school. I worked with students throughout college and as a freelance college admissions and essay specialist at a college consultancy, helping students gain admission to top universities and programs that best matched their interests.
Given the deadlines, essays and school selections, the process can be confusing and overwhelming; I certainly remember the nervousness I felt. I personally review all essays and walk my students through the essay and general application process to make sure that they are smiling and confident when they click “submit” on their applications.
I currently live in New York with my wife and love all things sports, travel and outdoors related!

- After each session, I will provide a summary of the meeting’s salient points.
- We will discuss concrete next steps and map out the path forward. As Yogi Berra once said, “If you don’t know where you are going, you’ll end up somewhere else.”
